What This Role Really Is 

This is a retail, in-home closing role. 

You are not dropping a number and disappearing. 
You are not winging appointments. 

You are: 
• Running roof inspections 
• Sitting at the table 
• Presenting Good / Better / Best options 
• Simplifying decisions 
• Creating ethical urgency 
• Asking for the sale—clearly and confidently 

Most deals close on the first visit. Follow-up is structured, expected, and tracked.

• Run prepared, on-time appointments 
• Control the process without pressure or gimmicks 
• Close at the table—or rehash with purpose 
• Own your pipeline, notes, and follow-ups 
• Take coaching seriously and apply it weekly 

The scoreboard is simple: Appointments run. Options presented. Contracts signed. Dollars collected. 

What Losing Looks Like 

This role is not for you if you: 
• “Have great appointments” but no contracts 
• Get uncomfortable asking for the sale 
• Fail to log notes or update the CRM

• Need daily motivation or micromanagement 

What You’ll Do 

• Conduct in-home roofing consultations and inspections 
• Build estimates using RoofSnap and JobNimbus 
• Present clean, confident options to homeowners 
• Close residential roofing projects (retail & insurance) 
• Manage your pipeline with discipline and accuracy 
• Partner with Inside Sales, Production, and Operations to deliver a top-tier customer experience 

Who Thrives Here 

• 1+ year of in-home or outside sales (roofing, solar, HVAC, windows, pest, alarms, home improvement) 
• Comfortable on roofs, ladders, and job sites
