Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in Roofing to lead and coordinate roofing projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee diverse roofing initiatives, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage. As a key driver of project success, you will collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver outstanding results that meet or exceed expectations. Your expertise in construction processes, roofing systems, and project management will be instrumental in transforming visions into reality while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee roofing projects, ensuring all phases are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to establish project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct detailed construction estimating to accurately forecast costs and resource requirements for roofing projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing systems and construction details.
- Supervise on-site activities including the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy lifting equipment to ensure safe work practices.
- Inspect job sites regularly for quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications; address issues promptly.
- Manage procurement of materials such as roofing materials, metal studs, caulking compounds, tile, stucco finishes, masonry components, plumbing fixtures, welding supplies, and other construction essentials.
- Oversee the installation of various roofing systems including flat roofs, shingle roofs, metal roofs, or restoration projects involving masonry or stucco finishes.
- Ensure proper use of construction site safety protocols; conduct safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation including progress reports, incident logs, change orders, and project schedules.
Ideal Experience & Skills
- 2+ years managing residential roofing or multi-trade construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of shingle, metal roofing, siding, and gutter installations.
- Experience overseeing subcontractors, monitoring labor, and controlling budgets.
- Skilled with CRM/project tools for daily photos, notes, and checklists.
- Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and leadership skills.
- OSHA certification and valid driver’s license.
